This tool arranges objects in the scene to fit inside the selected printer’s volume without intersecting each other. This tool only arranges objects on the ground plane (i.e. not in the 3D volume).

packing.png

Transformation Mode: you can choose to arrange by either moving the objects around the ground plane, or my moving and rotating. Choosing moving and rotating may enable a better packing, but will also take longer to compute.

Packing Quality: here you can trade off computational speed for better (tighter) packing.

Packing Origin: whether you want to pack objects around the center of the build volume, or starting in a corner.

Packing Style: choose the configuration of objects: circular, square, or in a single line.

Border Width: size of the buffer region to leave around the outside border of the print bed.
